ZM Africa Investment Fund

Summary

ZM Africa Investment Fund (ZMAIF) was launched in 1997 to make private equity investments in the Republic of South Africa and other countries in Southern Africa, also known as the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. Zephyr became the manager in 2000.

Investment strategy and objectives

ZMAIF sought to make diversified direct private equity investments in high growth business sectors in liberalized African markets in the SADC region.

The Fund’s investments have been substantially divested. ZMAIF is currently closed to new investors. Information relating to the Fund is provided solely for the purpose of describing Zephyr Management L.P.’s global capabilities.
