Mr. Canter has over 35 years of experience as a senior executive in investment management having served as a Chairman and CEO of Dreyfus Corporation and as a Vice Chairman of Mellon Financial Corporation. Earlier in his career he served as CEO of Kleinwort Benson Investment Management Americas, Mitchell Hutchins Institutional Investments and Chase Investors Management Corp. Mr. Canter earned an AB from Cornell University and MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
