Prior to joining Zephyr, Mr. Lloyd was a Senior Investment Manager at JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, responsible for a range of actively managed Global Emerging Market portfolios, managing approximately US $1 billion in both open ended and closed ended vehicles. He joined Robert Fleming Co., Ltd. in 1996. Prior to joining Robert Fleming, he was a fund manager for Legal & General, a large UK life assurance company for 13 years, during which he headed teams covering North America, the Far East and GEM markets, and before that he was at Commercial Union, another large insurance business. He has been involved as an investor in emerging markets for 20 years, and has more than 30 years of investment experience overall. He began his career as a professional economist, specializing in the developing world. He received an Economics degree from Leeds University.
