Sofiane Lahmar joined Kingdom Zephyr African Management in 2005 and is based in London. Prior to joining Kingdom Zephyr, Mr. Lahmar worked as a Vice President in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group of JPMorgan in NY for six years. While at JPMorgan, he advised on over US$25 billion worth of M&A transactions and worked on a diverse set of domestic, foreign, and cross-border advisory assignments. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Mr. Lahmar worked as an FX Option trader with FleetBoston in Boston. Mr. Lahmar received an M.A. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University’s International Business School and a Maitrise (M.Sc.) in Management and Finance from Dauphine University in Paris, France. Mr. Lahmar is a native French and Arabic speaker.
